As a Custom Software Engineer a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly across various systems and applications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and efficient software delivery is a key aspect alongside troubleshooting and refining software to optimize performance and reliability within dynamic project environments. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME collaborate and manage the team to perform.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.- Lead the coordination of development activities to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance software quality and team productivity. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP PO/PI & APIs Development.- Strong experience in designing and implementing integration solutions using SAP Process Orchestration and Process Integration tools.- Ability to develop and manage APIs to facilitate seamless communication between diverse software systems.- Familiarity with agile software development practices and modern frameworks to deliver scalable and maintainable solutions.- Competence in troubleshooting and resolving complex integration issues to ensure system stability and performance.- Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP PO/PI & APIs Development.- This position is based at our Chennai office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
