SAP Fiori & OData Developer

Position Description:

Responsibilities:
Architecture & Development

. Design develop and enhance SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5.
. Develop and maintain OData services using SAP Gateway (SEGW) and RAP model (where applicable).
. Build and optimize ABAP programs enhancements BADIs user exits and CDS views.
. Implement UI5 custom controls and extend standard Fiori applications.
. Integrate SAP backend systems with front-end Fiori applications.

Technical Leadership

. Provide technical guidance and code reviews for junior and mid-level developers.
. Define best practices for SAP Fiori OData and ABAP development.
. Participate in solution architecture discussions and technical design workshops.
. Drive performance optimization and security compliance initiatives.

System Integration & Performance

. Work with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA systems.
. Optimize OData performance (batch processing deep entities $expand etc.).
. Ensure proper error handling logging and debugging.
. Conduct performance tuning at both UI and backend levels.

Testing & Deployment

. Conduct unit testing integration testing and support UAT cycles.
. Manage transports and coordinate deployments across landscapes.
. Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution.

Experience

. 46 years in SAP Fiori / UI5 & OData architecture
. Experience with Fiori Launchpad configuration.
. Exposure to SAP BTP services and extensions.

Certifications (Preferred)

. SAP Certified Development Associate SAP Fiori / UI5
. SAP ABAP for SAP HANA / RAP
