SAP Architect (Functional & Technical) with 15+ years experience

Position Description:

SAP Architect (Functional & Technical)
We are looking an experienced SAP Architect with strong functional and technical expertise to assess and provide recommendations on SAP landscape strategy around business process expertise security upgrades hosting and third party support environments.
Key Responsibilities:

. Evaluate the current SAP landscape architecture including ERP Solution Manager and integrated applications and provide strategic architecture recommendations.
. Assess the existing SAP security including user access management role design segregation of duties (SoD) vulnerability management patching strategy and compliance controls.
. Identify security risks and mitigation measures associated with operating SAP under third party support models ensuring adherence to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
. Define and recommend an SAP upgrade and modernization strategy considering business priorities technical dependencies support timelines custom developments and integration impacts.
. Analyze constraints impacting upgrades including legacy customizations third party interfaces database compatibility infrastructure limitations and business continuity requirements.
. Review the current hosting and infrastructure setup and evaluate its impact on performance scalability security disaster recovery and total cost of ownership.
. Assess SAP environment readiness for future transformation initiatives and platform modernization.
. Collaborate with functional and technical stakeholders to align architecture decisions with business processes operational requirements and enterprise IT strategy.
. Provide architecture governance risk assessments and actionable recommendations covering security improvements upgrade roadmaps hosting optimization and support model considerations.
. Lead workshops and executive level discussions to document current state architecture identify gaps and develop a target state roadmap with prioritized recommendations.

Preferred Experience:

. 15 years of SAP experience with a mix of functional and technical architecture roles.
