Job Summary
Salesforce DevOps & Release Engineer with 38 years of experience to support CI/CD pipelines release execution and deployment processes across Salesforce environments. The role focuses on ensuring smooth consistent and low-risk deployments.
Responsibilities
Release Execution & Deployment:
- Support Salesforce deployments across Dev QA UAT and Production
- Perform code promotions validations and deployment checks
- Assist in release coordination and rollback execution
CI/CD & Automation:
- Work with CI/CD tools (AutoRABIT Copado Jenkins GitHub)
- Support automation of build test and deployment processes
- Maintain and enhance pipeline configurations
Environment Management:
- Manage Salesforce sandboxes and environment readiness
- Perform sandbox refreshes and data setup
- Ensure environment stability and usage tracking
Monitoring & Issue Resolution:
- Monitor deployment pipelines and job execution
- Troubleshoot deployment failures and resolve issues
- Support incident resolution during releases
DevOps Process Support:
- Follow release management and DevOps best practices
- Maintain release documentation and audit logs
- Support process improvements and automation initiatives
Collaboration:
- Work with developers QA and admins for deployments
- Participate in Agile ceremonies
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- 38 years of IT experience
- 2 years in Salesforce DevOps / Release roles
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and Git
- Basic Salesforce platform knowledge
- Understanding of release lifecycle and SDLC
Preferred:
- Salesforce Administrator certification
- Platform Developer I (good to have)
- Exposure to Salesforce DX and scripting
Nice to Have:
- Integration/API deployment exposure
- Monitoring/logging tools knowledge
- Knowledge of any commercial release Mgmt. tool (pref AutoRABIT)
