As a Custom Software Engineer a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software solutions that enhance various system components. The role requires working closely with different teams to ensure the delivery of scalable and efficient applications. The engineer applies modern development methodologies and frameworks to meet evolving business requirements continuously improving system performance and functionality while adapting to dynamic project needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices to improve software quality and delivery timelines.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Experience in customizing and extending Salesforce Commerce Cloud functionalities to meet business needs.
- Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms and integration techniques.
- Ability to work with modern development frameworks and agile methodologies.
- Familiarity with debugging testing and performance optimization within commerce cloud environments.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
