Restaurant & Bar Duty Manager

A restaurant attached to a hotel in Kaikōura is looking for an experienced Restaurant & Bar Manager to join their team ahead of the busy summer season.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is confident managing a restaurant and bar leading a team and providing excellent service to international guests.

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the restaurant and bar
  
• Lead support and give clear direction to the team
  
• Maintain high standards of customer service cleanliness and hygiene
  
• Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally
  
• Oversee responsible service and handling of alcohol
  
• Help ensure the restaurant and bar operate smoothly during busy periods
  
• Ideally 3 years experience in a senior restaurant bar or hospitality management role
  
• Good spoken English and confident communication skills
  
• Comfortable leading a team and giving clear instructions
  
• Confident dealing with customers and resolving complaints
  
• Experience working with alcohol and managing a bar
  
• Mature reliable and able to work independently
  
• Comfortable living and working in a smaller more isolated location such as Kaikōura

• NZD 2830 per hour Minimum 30 hours per week
