Job Summary

  • Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budget constraints.
  • Source evaluate and select reliable suppliers and contractors for construction materials machinery and services.
  • Negotiate contracts pricing and delivery terms to ensure optimal cost and quality outcomes.
  • Maintain a comprehensive supplier database and conduct regular performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate with project managers site engineers and finance teams to forecast material needs and avoid delays.
  • Monitor market trends material availability and price fluctuations to support strategic purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies safety standards and local procurement regulations.
  • Manage purchase orders track deliveries and resolve supply chain issues promptly.
  • Implement cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement practices in procurement operations.
  • Prepare procurement reports and KPIs for senior management review.


Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Supply Chain Management Procurement or a related field.
  • 25 years of proven experience in procurement or purchasing within the construction or infrastructure sector.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials (cement steel aggregates electrical plumbing etc.) and their specifications.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g. SAP Tally or MS Dynamics).
  • Excellent negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with local and state-level procurement regulations in Rajasthan.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel to supplier locations and construction sites as needed.
