Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Materials Research Engineer with a Masters in Materials Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Insulation materials and a strong background in product development. Experience in Mineral wool (Stonewool) is a plus. This role involves product design & development and process technology working closely with operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new product based on the business need.
• Study existing product designs and develop new concepts.
• Improve product design to enhance performance and functionality.
• Understanding the product application and customer needs.
• Collaborate with process teams to scale up production processes and optimize.
• Apply expertise in topics to drive improvements and innovations.
• Troubleshoot product-related issues and implement effective solutions.
• Scale up new product and process in plants
• Utilize statistical methods to analyze process data and enhance performance.
• Ensure safety communication and protocols are adhered to globally.
• Animate collaboration within R&D team and process teams to foster a productive and innovative environment.
• Demonstrate agility in adapting to new challenges and environments.
• Travel frequently to various locations including international travel based on the need.
• Spend significant time on-site at manufacturing plants to ensure smooth process implementation and operation.

Qualifications

• ME MTECH in Thermal/Combustion
• Strong understanding on product design and development methodology .
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• The position will be based at Silvassa but the candidate is expected to travel to Research & Development Center in Chennai for discussion Kick -Off and project meetings

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Insulation materials especially Mineral Wools.
• Familiarity with NPD methodology
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
