Quantity Surveyor
Job Summary
The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing project quantities cost estimation budgeting billing contract administration and cost control for infrastructure projects. The role ensures commercial compliance accurate measurement of works timely preparation of client and subcontractor bills and effective management of project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs BOQs and cost estimates from project drawings and specifications.
- Verify executed quantities and monitor project costs against approved budgets.
- Prepare and process client RA bills and certify subcontractor invoices.
- Manage contract administration variations claims and change orders.
- Support tendering procurement and commercial evaluations.
- Coordinate with project planning and finance teams for cost reporting and project controls.
- Maintain commercial records measurement sheets and contractual documentation.
- Prepare periodic cost billing and commercial performance reports.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- 515 years of experience in quantity surveying for infrastructure projects such as roads highways railways metro bridges airports or water projects.
