Your Impact

We are looking for a QA Engineer who can execute test cases manually as well as converting them to automated test cases using C# and Automation Tools. These are for mission-critical Windows Desktop products. These products generate significant revenue and require robust maintainable and scalable test coverage.

You will be responsible understanding the product functionality executing manual test cases and for eventual conversion of the test cases to automation using C# and automation tools. Modern AI Tooling and AI Assisted development will be used in all applicable stages. You will be required to understand and comply with documentation requirements and other best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the development teams and own the QA activities
  • Perform manual QA - UI functional regression and exploration testing on desktop applications
  • Write and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios based on requirements/specifications
  • Log track and verify defects using bug-tracking tools (e.g. JIRA Azure DevOps)
  • Perform UI usability and installation/uninstallation testing for desktop applications
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and edge cases
  • Participate in test planning test case reviews and release signoffs
  • Document test results and prepare test summary reports
  • Extend the existing automation framework and add automated test cases
  • Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines

You Are a Good Fit for This Job If You Have:

  • 2 years of experience in manual QA and automation.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
  • Experience writing test cases test plans and defect reports
  • Familiarity with bug-tracking/test management tools (JIRA TestRail Azure DevOps or similar)
  • Good understanding of database concepts (basic SQL for data validation is a plus)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge in C#
  • Expertise with QA tools like Playwright
  • Experience in automating Windows desktop applications
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience or an eagerness to learn AI-assisted development.
  • Relevant academic qualifications.
