Python Developer | REST APIs, DjangoFlask & Cloud

Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a capable Python Developer to design develop and maintain scalable robust software solutions. This role emphasizes strong backend development with Python collaboration with front-end teams as needed and close cooperation with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable secure and high-performing applications. The ideal candidate will contribute to architectural decisions drive feature delivery and support modern delivery practices to enable business growth and digital transformation.

Software Requirements

Required Skills (Essential)

• Proficiency in Python 3.x for backend development data processing and automation

• Experience with one or more Python web frameworks (e.g. Django Flask) and REST API development

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies

• Solid knowledge of software architecture and design patterns

• A minimum of 3years of experience in technology leadership and software development

• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and infrastructure (at least foundational familiarity)

• Experience with relational databases and SQL data modeling (e.g. MySQL PostgreSQL Oracle)

• Version control experience with Git; collaboration platforms (GitHub GitLab or Bitbucket)

• Ability to write clean maintainable and scalable code

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NoSQL databases and data warehousing concepts

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling

• Exposure to data visualization testing frameworks or front-end integration

• Certifications in Python development or cloud platforms

Overall Responsibilities

• Design develop test and maintain Python-based applications and services aligned with business requirements

• Collaborate with product managers UX designers and backend teams to translate requirements into technical solutions

• Write clean well-documented code; participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards

• Optimize application performance reliability and security across environments

• Contribute to architecture discussions and ensure alignment with enterprise standards

• Support CI/CD pipelines automated testing and deployment processes

• Maintain comprehensive documentation including architecture deployment procedures and technical specifications

• Mentor junior developers and promote knowledge sharing and best practices

• 810 years of practical experience in Python development for enterprise applications

• Demonstrated ability to deliver scalable maintainable software in an Agile environment

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (product QA operations)

• Banking or regulated industry experience is a plus but not mandatory

• Alternative pathways: strong project experience relevant certifications or notable contributions to Python-based platforms

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop and maintain backend services in Python and collaborate with frontend teams as needed

• Gather requirements plan iterations and contribute to design discussions

• Write review and test code; perform unit and integration testing

• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance and security

• Participate in planning stand-ups reviews and retrospectives

• Contribute to architecture discussions and deployment documentation

• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge across teams

Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field

• 810 years of hands-on Python development experience

• Certifications in Python cloud platforms or software development practices are advantageous
