Production Technician

Core Responsibilities

1. Equipment Operation: Set up monitor and operate manufacturing machinery tools and assembly lines.
2. Quality Control: Inspect and test raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet strict company standards and specifications.
3. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment and quickly diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical malfunctions.
4. Documentation: Maintain accurate production logs batch records equipment usage reports and quality metrics.
5. Safety Compliance: Adhere to health safety and environmental regulations (including SOPs and GMPs) to maintain a secure workplace. 1 2 3 4

Key Skills & Qualifications

1. Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of mechanical electrical or automated systems and the ability to read technical drawings and schematics. 1
2. Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly analyze machine faults and suggest root-cause solutions to prevent production delays. 1 2 3 4 5
3. Dexterity & Math: Fine motor skills for precision assembly and mathematical capabilities for measuring and following protocols. 1
4. Education: Typically requires a High School Diploma an Associates degree or a relevant vocational/trade certification in an engineering or industrial field. 1
