The Principal Software Engineer will lead the technical strategy architecture and evolution of critical large-scale systems that support key business capabilities. This role will drive company-wide architectural initiatives AI adoption platform modernization and engineering excellence while influencing senior leadership and aligning multiple engineering organizations toward long-term technical and business goals.

• Lead the design and evolution of large-scale distributed systems and platform architectures.
• Define and drive company-wide technical strategy aligned with long-term business and product objectives.
• Establish architectural principles standards and best practices to ensure scalability consistency and maintainability.
• Drive the strategic adoption of AI-assisted development practices and AI-enabled capabilities across the organization.
• Lead cross-functional and cross-organizational initiatives spanning multiple systems domains and business units.
• Identify and mitigate systemic technical risks and drive long-term modernization and technical debt reduction initiatives.
• Advance system reliability scalability performance observability and operational maturity across the organization.
• Mentor and influence senior technical talent while promoting a culture of engineering excellence and high technical standards.

• Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering or a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of professional software engineering experience including experience defining and driving technical strategy at an organizational or company-wide level.
• Deep experience designing and evolving large-scale distributed systems and cloud-based platform architectures.
• Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS GCP or Azure and cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive technical alignment across multiple teams and organizations without direct authority.

• Experience with .NET full-stack and API development across frontend and backend technologies.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages including Rust C# or JavaScript.
• Experience with microservices Docker Kubernetes serverless architectures and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform Pulumi or Bicep.
• Strong knowledge of modern authentication and authorization mechanisms including OAuth 2.0 OIDC and SAML.
• Deep experience with observability monitoring distributed tracing and reliability engineering practices.
• Experience with CI/CD systems automated testing progressive deployment strategies and modern software delivery practices.
• Strong understanding of modern security practices including secure coding threat modeling and vulnerability remediation
