Principal Engineer, Java, React

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total experience: 11 years
• Strong hands-on experience in Java and .
• Good working knowledge of Python and PostgreSQL.
• Experience building REST APIs and integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and experience using JIRA.
• Experience writing clean maintainable well-documented and production-quality code.
• Ability to conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Strong analytical problem-solving communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience collaborating with business users architects and cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel within India and overseas for project workshops onboarding and delivery activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and deliver application features and modules using Java and under the guidance of the Solution Architect.
• Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Build enhance and integrate REST APIs while supporting frontend and backend development activities.
• Write clean scalable tested and maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews provide technical guidance and support knowledge sharing with junior team members.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and business users to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Track daily progress update task status in JIRA and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
• Support UAT bug fixing deployment release activities and post-release issue resolution.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including code documentation API specifications and release notes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and travel to client locations as required.

Qualifications :

Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.
