Job Summary
The PPRT Classical Dance Teacher is responsible for introducing pre-primary students (Nursery LKG UKG) to the fundamentals of Indian classical dance in a joyful age-appropriate and engaging manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach the basics of Indian classical dance forms such as Bharatanatyam Kathak Odissi or other recognized styles suitable for young learners.
- Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons using storytelling music rhythm and movement.
- Develop students coordination balance flexibility posture facial expressions and motor skills.
- Choreograph performances for Annual Day Festivals Assemblies and other school events.
- Foster confidence discipline teamwork creativity and stage presence among students.
- Ensure classes are conducted in a safe inclusive and encouraging environment.
- Maintain dance costumes props music and classroom resources.
- Participate in school meetings workshops and professional development activities.
- Support extracurricular clubs competitions and inter-school cultural events.
