PPRT Dance

The PPRT Classical Dance Teacher is responsible for introducing pre-primary students (Nursery LKG UKG) to the fundamentals of Indian classical dance in a joyful age-appropriate and engaging manner.

• Teach the basics of Indian classical dance forms such as Bharatanatyam Kathak Odissi or other recognized styles suitable for young learners.
• Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons using storytelling music rhythm and movement.
• Develop students coordination balance flexibility posture facial expressions and motor skills.
• Choreograph performances for Annual Day Festivals Assemblies and other school events.
• Foster confidence discipline teamwork creativity and stage presence among students.
• Ensure classes are conducted in a safe inclusive and encouraging environment.
• Maintain dance costumes props music and classroom resources.
• Participate in school meetings workshops and professional development activities.
• Support extracurricular clubs competitions and inter-school cultural events.
