Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled PLSQL Support Engineer with strong expertise in SQL PLSQL Oracle and Unix. Candidates should have experience in L1 & L2 Production Support and must possess excellent SQL query writing and troubleshooting skills. Candidates with a strong SQL Developer background are also preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1 & L2 production support for business-critical applications
- Analyze and troubleshoot SQL PLSQL and Oracle database-related issues
- Write optimize and debug complex SQL queries and PLSQL procedures
- Monitor production jobs batch processes and application performance
- Handle incident management root cause analysis and issue resolution
- Coordinate with development and infrastructure teams for production fixes
- Support deployment activities and perform post-release validations
- Work in Unix/Linux environments for troubleshooting and support activities
- Ensure SLA compliance and timely issue resolution
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in SQL (Mandatory)
- Good experience in PLSQL and Oracle Database
- Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux commands
- Experience in L1 & L2 Production Support
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Good understanding of database performance tuning concepts
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
Preferred Profile
- Candidates from SQL Developer background are also welcome
- Experience in production support environments is highly preferred
