Job Summary
We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring for the position of PLC Programmer in Chennai Tamil Nadu. We are seeking skilled and motivated professionals with hands-on knowledge of industrial automation technologies including PLC HMI SCADA VFD Servo and Stepper systems. The ideal candidate should be capable of studying process applications understanding customer requirements and executing automation solutions effectively. - Develop modify and troubleshoot PLC programs for industrial automation applications.
- Configure and integrate HMI and SCADA systems with PLC-controlled equipment.
- Integrate VFDs Servo drives and Stepper systems into automation solutions.
- Study customer processes and identify suitable automation applications.
- Understand customer technical requirements and translate them into executable automation solutions.
- Support testing commissioning and troubleshooting of automation systems.
- Contribute to the generation and technical evaluation of project enquiries.
- Present automation products and technical solutions effectively to customers and travel as required for project or customer needs.
- PLC Programming: Working knowledge of PLC programming across major PLC brands.
- HMI & SCADA: Ability to configure and work with industrial HMI and SCADA systems.
- Drive Integration: Hands-on understanding of VFD integration with automation systems.
- Motion Control: Knowledge of Servo and Stepper integration and control.
- Process Application: Ability to study industrial processes and convert requirements into practical automation solutions.
- Industrial automation troubleshooting and commissioning experience.
- Customer-facing technical presentation capabilities.
- Exposure to multiple PLC and automation hardware brands.
The requirement specifies 3 years of experience. Candidates should have relevant hands-on exposure to PLC programming HMI/SCADA and industrial automation equipment along with experience understanding and executing customer requirements.
- Minimum: Typical Diploma/B.E./ in Electrical Electronics Electronics & Communication Instrumentation Mechatronics or related engineering discipline.
- Preferred: Typical Relevant industrial automation/PLC certification.
- Additional: Typical PLC SCADA HMI drive or motion-control certifications would be advantageous.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D and Navisworks. Proficiency in creating 3D models Piping Isometrics GA drawings and Piping -depth knowledge of Piping BOM MTO and Piping Material Specifications (PMS). Familiarity with piping support systems and basic understanding of stress analysis. Solid understanding of P&ID for boilers and power plants. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions. Strong leadership abilities to manage and guide a team towards successful project completion.
Required Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME) or Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BE) with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the design stream.
