This is a remote position.
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Platform Developer to design develop maintain and improve software platforms that support business operations and user needs. This role involves building and enhancing platform functionality developing integrations troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring systems remain reliable secure and scalable.
The ideal candidate has a strong programming background experience with software development and platform architecture and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective technical solutions. They should be comfortable working independently solving complex problems and adapting to evolving business and technology requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain platform features applications and system components.
- Build and improve platform functionality to support business and operational needs.
- Develop and maintain APIs integrations and connections between internal and external systems.
- Identify troubleshoot and resolve software bugs performance issues and technical problems.
- Write clean maintainable scalable and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with product managers designers IT teams and other developers to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Participate in code reviews testing debugging and deployment processes.
- Monitor platform performance reliability and security.
- Maintain and improve existing systems while supporting new development projects.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve platform efficiency.
- Document technical processes system configurations and development updates.
- Stay current with emerging technologies development tools and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Information Technology or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in software development platform engineering or application development.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python JavaScript Java C# or PHP.
- Experience working with databases APIs and system integrations.
- Understanding of software development life cycles and version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms hosting environments and deployment processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of front-end and back-end development concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate is a technically strong developer who enjoys building and improving software platforms. They should be proactive adaptable and comfortable working across different areas of development from troubleshooting existing functionality to implementing new features and integrations.
Candidates with experience developing business applications internal platforms workflow automation systems or software integrations would be particularly well suited for this position.
