Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Plant Manager to oversee overall plant operations production processes quality systems business planning and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in plant handling process improvement KPI management audits CAPA root cause analysis and automotive quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee overall plant operations ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day functioning.
  • Develop and execute business and operational plans in line with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes and ensure strong process awareness and process discipline across the plant.
  • Define monitor and review KPIs related to production quality productivity delivery cost and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct and coordinate internal audits and ensure compliance with defined systems procedures and quality standards.
  • Analyze process/product issues and prepare CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) plans.
  • Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for quality and process-related issues and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare and analyze Pareto charts to identify major recurring issues and improvement areas.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions and ensure timely closure of identified issues.
  • Support New Product Development (NPD) activities related to plant process production and quality requirements.
  • Ensure proper maintenance control and implementation of quality-related documents and records.
  • Review products processes and systems regularly to identify scope for improvement and operational excellence.
  • Manage and communicate 4M changes (Man Machine Material Method) as required particularly for customers in the automotive industry.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Production Quality Maintenance Engineering and Development for effective plant operations.
  • Conduct and participate in monthly plant review meetings including performance KPI quality productivity and improvement reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity quality efficiency and overall plant performance.
  • Ensure timely resolution of operational and quality issues and maintain strong customer-focused processes.

Preferred Background: Candidates with experience in Plastic Manufacturing / Automotive Component Manufacturing and exposure to automotive customer requirements would be highly preferred.
