Key Responsibilities

Plan prepare and deliver engaging History lessons for Classes XI and XII in accordance with the prescribed NCERT syllabus.
Develop comprehensive lesson plans teaching aids and assessment tools to enhance student learning.
Conduct regular formative and summative evaluations provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of student performance.
Encourage critical thinking analytical skills and historical research methods among students.
Organize and supervise cocurricular activities such as debates quizzes history projects and field trips.
Participate actively in faculty meetings professional development programs and curriculum development initiatives.
Maintain a disciplined supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Collaborate with parents colleagues and management to address student needs and promote overall academic excellence.

Essential Qualifications

Masters degree (M.A.) in History from a recognized university.
. or an equivalent professional teaching qualification is mandatory.
Eligibility for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET).
Proficiency in English and Hindi (both spoken and written) to effectively communicate with students and parents.

Desired Experience

Minimum 2years of teaching experience at the senior secondary (Class XIXII) level.
Demonstrated ability to integrate technology and digital resources into History instruction.
Experience in mentoring students for competitive exams (e.g. UPSC State Civil Services) is a plus.
Track record of publishing research or articles related to History or education is advantageous.
