Job Summary
Job Responsibilities
- Teach English to students at the secondary level as a PostGraduate Teacher (PGT) (9-12).
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the school curriculum and learning objectives.
- Assess student performance through assignments tests and projects providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and nurture a positive learning environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings parentteacher interactions and school events.
- Contribute to the development of curricular materials and extracurricular activities related to English literature and language.
- Stay updated with the latest pedagogical methods and integrate technology where appropriate.
Essential Qualifications
- Masters Degree in English (or a related field) / .
- Relevant teaching certification or eligibility (e.g. CTET TET) is preferred.
- Strong command over the English language both written and spoken.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students.
Desired Experience
- Minimum of 2 years and maximum of 10 years of teaching experience in a school setting.
- Experience in preparing students for board examinations and competitive English tests is a plus.
- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and online learning platforms.
