Operator Production
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CNC Turning Machine Operator with experience in precision manufacturing and machining operations. The candidate should be capable of operating CNC turning machines interpreting engineering drawings conducting dimensional inspections and ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Operate CNC turning machines to manufacture components as per engineering specifications and production requirements.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings blueprints process sheets and work instructions.
- Load raw materials and unload finished components safely and efficiently.
- Perform tool setting tool offset corrections and minor program modifications as required.
- Conduct in-process and final inspections using measuring instruments such as vernier calipers micrometers bore gauges and height gauges.
- Monitor machine performance and identify any abnormalities or deviations during production.
- Maintain accurate production records inspection reports and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations quality standards and 5S housekeeping practices.
- Perform routine machine maintenance cleaning and preventive care activities.
- Coordinate with Production Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve machining-related issues.
- Meet daily production targets while ensuring adherence to quality requirements and minimizing rework/rejections.
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering Machinist Trade or a related discipline.
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience operating CNC Turning Machines.
- Good understanding of machining processes tooling and cutting parameters.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments and inspection techniques.
- Knowledge of CNC controls and basic program editing is preferred.
