Role / Job Summary | We are looking for a Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco security technologies including Firepower Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) Extended Detection and Response (XDR) and Secure Service Edge (SSE). The candidate will be responsible for securing enterprise network environments and supporting critical security operations. |

Key Responsibilities
- Manage Cisco firewall environments including Firepower and Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA).
- Support remote-access and site-to-site Virtual Private Network (VPN) infrastructure.
- Configure review and optimize firewall security policies.
- Troubleshoot security incidents and connectivity issues.
- Support security enhancement migration and remediation initiatives.
- Develop operational security runbooks policy documentation and standard operating procedures.
- Support security operations audit readiness and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with Security Operations Center (SOC) infrastructure and application teams.
Must-Have Skills
- Cisco Firepower.
- Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA).
- Firewall Management Center (FMC).
- Virtual Private Network (VPN) technologies.
- Network Address Translation (NAT).
- Intrusion Prevention System (IPS).
- Security policy management.
- Network security troubleshooting and incident handling.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Cisco Extended Detection and Response (XDR).
- Secure Service Edge (SSE).
- Cisco Umbrella.
- Palo Alto Networks firewall exposure.
- Fortinet firewall exposure.
- Security Information and Event Management (SIEM).
- Security Orchestration Automation and Response (SOAR).
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Security or Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Security.
Any Other Important Notes
- Security certifications are preferred.
- Strong communication skills are required.
- Candidate should have real firewall implementation migration or policy ownership experience.
- Hybrid or remote working model can be considered based on project requirements.
