What awaits you/ Job Profile

  • Lead end-to-end BEV thermal system development from concept selection to production launch.
  • Own thermal architecture for the battery e-drive power electronics and charging systems.
  • Translate vehicle heat-load targets into system subsystem and component requirements.
  • Develop efficient coolant circuits for heat collection transportation and rejection.
  • Lead sizing and selection of pumps valves radiators chillers and heat exchangers.
  • Ensure robust packaging and routing of hoses pipes manifolds and thermal components.
  • Coordinate with battery e-powertrain CAE controls testing and vehicle-integration teams.
  • Define and execute component system vehicle and environmental validation plans.
  • Drive supplier development technical reviews issue resolution and production readiness.
  • Deliver thermal performance durability cost weight quality and timing targets.

What should you bring along

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Automobile Thermal or related Engineering.
  • 10 to 15 years of automotive thermal-system product-development experience.
  • Delivery experience of at least two complete BEV passenger-car thermal system programs.
  • Strong concept-to-production experience within an OEM Tier 1 or engineering organization.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and complex engineering programs.
  • Experience in requirements design release prototype builds validation and production launch.
  • Strong supplier manufacturing quality and purchasing stakeholder-management experience.
  • Structured problem-solving capability using 8D 5 Why RCA FTA and DOE.
  • Strong technical communication documentation presentation and decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to support supplier visits vehicle builds testing and production launches.

Must have technical skill

  • Expertise in BEV cooling systems for batteries e-motors inverters and charging components.
  • Strong capability in heat-load estimation heat balance and system-capacity calculations.
  • Experience in coolant-flow pressure-drop hydraulic-network and pump operating-point calculations.
  • Expertise in sizing pumps valves radiators chillers heat exchangers and reservoirs.
  • Strong knowledge of coolant selection fluid compatibility corrosion and contamination control.
  • Expertise in hose and pipe routing filling bleeding sealing and service accessibility.
  • Knowledge of metals polymers elastomers seals hoses and thermal manufacturing processes.
  • Practical experience applying DFM DFA DFS cost and weight optimization principles.
  • Strong knowledge of DFMEA DVP&R interface management and engineering change control.
  • Experience in leakage pressure vibration durability thermal shock and environmental validation.
  • To have strong understanding of Regulatory requirements and convergence
  • Proficient with CATIA V5/V6 CAD tools for packaging and routing reviews and Teamcentre PLM tool

Good to have Technical skills

  • Experience in multi-loop cooling architectures and integrated coolant-distribution modules.
  • Knowledge of battery cooling technologies including cooling plates and direct-fluid cooling.
  • Experience in battery pre-conditioning for fast charging cold starts and performance driving.
  • Knowledge of thermal controls diagnostics derating fail-safe functions and energy optimization.
  • Experience with GT-SUITE Amesim KULI MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent simulation tools.
  • Exposure to CFD analysis for coolant flow heat transfer and thermal-component performance.
  • Knowledge of thermal interface materials insulation and high-conductivity material applications.
  • Awareness of thermal-propagation safety and functional-safety interfaces for BEV systems.
  • Awareness of immersion cooling refrigerant-based battery cooling and predictive thermal control.

Required Experience:
