Job Summary
Title: Manual QA (API Testing)
Location: Bangalore Onsite
Salary: 7-8 LPA
Job Summary:
- Analyze product requirements user stories and API specifications before development is complete.
- Participate in backlog refinement sessions to identify test scenarios missing acceptance criteria and potential risks.
- Test REST APIs using Postman by validating:
- Request payloads
- Response structure and business rules
- HTTP status codes
- Authentication and authorization
- Pagination filtering sorting and search
- Rate limiting and timeout scenarios
- Negative and boundary conditions
- Create Postman Collections and reusable environment variables for regression testing.
- Verify data consistency between API responses and the database using SQL queries.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 15 years of experience in Manual Testing and API Testing.
- ISTQB certification is an added advantage.
