Life on the team

You will join the Platform Security function within Cyber Operations working at thecentreof Computacenters data security and governance capabilities. The team protects business data across critical systems and services byoperatingeffective controls improving security policies and responding to emerging risks.

This is a highly collaborative role with regular engagement across Platform Security Data Security Cyber Operations GRC BISO Product Management platform owners the CTO function vendors and solution partners. You will combine hands-on technical leadership withpeoplemanagement stakeholder influence and continuous service improvement.

Whatyoulldo

• Lead the day-to-day operation governance and continuous improvement ofData Loss Preventioncapabilities and related data security tooling.

• Manage andoptimiseDLPpolicies policy decisions exclusions and exceptions in line with business and security requirements.

• Providesecurity guidance for solutions that protect Computacenter data across endpoints cloud platforms networks and other critical systems and services.

• Ensure secure configuration standards for data loss protection and data exfiltration prevention are defined implemented andmaintained.

• ReviewDLPalerts and events with the Data Security Leadoptimisepolicies and ensure emerging risks are addressed promptly.

• Identifygaps in data protection across platforms and services recommend improvements and support effective remediation.

• Translate security requirements into practical policies controls and configurations withinMicrosoft Purviewand associated technologies.

• Evaluate data security controls in the wider context of operational security governance risk and compliance requirements.

• Develop meaningful service metrics and management information to support Key Performance Indicators and informed decision-making.

• Build andoperateeffective processes with a strong focus on control effectiveness service quality and continuous improvement.

• Provide local people-management support for Platform Security team members in India including coaching regular engagement and leave approval.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders external vendors and solution suppliers to support operational delivery horizon scanning and technical improvement.

Whatyoullneed

• 10-15 years of overall experience in cybersecurity including substantial experience in Cyber Operations data securityData Loss Prevention and information governance.

• Proven experience leadingDLPservices or capabilities in a complex enterprise environment.

• Strong hands-on knowledge ofMicrosoft Purview includingDLPpolicy configuration alert management data governance and policyoptimisation.

• Strong understanding of data security across Microsoft Azure Microsoft 365 endpoints cloud services and network environments.

• Experience translating security and business requirements into effective technical controls policies configurations and operating processes.

• Good understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems networking protocols cloud architectures and common data exfiltration risks.

• Experience managing coaching or leading technical team members ideally within a global or matrixorganisation.

• Strong analytical problem-solving and risk-assessment skills with the ability toidentifycontrol gaps and recommend practical solutions.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to explain complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong collaborationstakeholder-management and influencing skills across multi-disciplinary and geographically distributed teams.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Cybersecurity Information Technology ora relateddiscipline.

• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security Network Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate or equivalent security and cloud certifications are desirable.
