Lead Software Engineer Java Fullstack

The Lead Software Engineer (P3) is a hands-on full stack role with strong backend ownership (Java Spring Boot) and solid frontend delivery (React). Youll design and build scalable services and user experiences drive engineering best practices and mentor a small team to deliver reliable high-performance software.

• 510 years of experience in full stack development using Java Spring Boot and ReactJS

• Experience in developing and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices architecture

• Strong frontend experience with ReactJS HTML CSS and JavaScript

• Experience in building responsive web applications using frameworks like Bootstrap

• Hands-on experience with state management libraries like Redux (GraphQL is a plus)

• Good understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases

• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins Jira Git Bitbucket

• Familiarity with code reviews system design discussions and best coding practices

• Experience in debugging and resolving production issues

• Strong collaboration with QA DevOps and Product teams

• Ability to own and deliver modules end-to-end

• Experience in mentoring team members and improving team productivity

• B.E / / M.E / / MS in Computer Science or related field

• 58 years of experience in software development

• Strong experience in backend development using Java

• Experience in product-based or tier-1 organizations preferred

Mandatory

• OOP design patterns scalable system design

Databases

• Relational: MySQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle (schema design complex queries indexing performance tuning)

• Understanding of SQL vs NoSQL use cases; distributed/high-scale data systems

DevOps & Tools

• Git

• Maven / Gradle

• CI/CD: Jenkins GitHub Actions or similar

• Postman or similar API testing tools

Good to Have

• Cloud: AWS / GCP / Azure

• Docker Kubernetes

• Messaging: Kafka SNS RabbitMQ

• Caching: Redis; performance tuning

• Spring Security

• AI-assisted development tools (e.g. GitHub-Copilot Cursor)

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking

• Clear communication and stakeholder management

• Ability to mentor and lead small teams

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

• Lead and mentor a team of 25 engineers
