What awaits you/ Job Profile

  • Develop BEV cooling systems from requirement definition through validation and production release.
  • Engineer cooling circuits for battery e-motor inverter onboard charger and DC-DC converter.
  • Convert component heat loads and duty cycles into system and component-level requirements.
  • Perform coolant-flow pressure-drop heat-balance and cooling-capacity calculations.
  • Size and select pumps valves radiators chillers heat exchangers and reservoirs.
  • Develop system schematics interfaces technical specifications and engineering documentation.
  • Package and route hoses pipes manifolds and components within vehicle-level constraints.
  • Coordinate with battery e-drive controls CAE testing suppliers and vehicle-integration teams.
  • Execute component system-rig vehicle durability and environmental validation activities.
  • Support design release supplier development prototype builds PPAP and production launch.

What should you bring along

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Automobile Thermal or related Engineering.
  • 6 to 10 years of automotive thermal-system design and product-development experience.
  • Experience in at least one complete passenger-car BEV thermal system development program.
  • Hands-on experience in system design component development testing and production release.
  • Strong understanding of battery e-drive power electronics and charging-system heat loads.
  • Experience working with automotive suppliers manufacturing quality and purchasing teams.
  • Ability to independently manage assigned systems components deliverables and technical issues.
  • Structured problem-solving experience using 8D 5 Why RCA FTA and DOE methodologies.
  • Strong technical documentation design-review communication and engineering coordination skills.
  • Willingness to support supplier visits prototype builds vehicle testing and production launches.

Must have technical skill

  • Strong knowledge of BEV cooling systems for battery e-drive inverter and charging components.
  • Experience in heat-load estimation heat balance and transient cooling-performance calculations.
  • Capability in coolant-flow distribution pressure-drop and hydraulic-network calculations.
  • Experience sizing pumps valves radiators chillers heat exchangers and thermal components.
  • Knowledge of coolant properties material compatibility corrosion contamination and fluid aging.
  • Expertise in hose and pipe routing sealing mounting filling bleeding and leak prevention.
  • Knowledge of metals polymers elastomers seals cooling plates and manufacturing processes.
  • Practical experience in DFM DFA and DFS for assembly inspection service and repair.
  • Experience preparing DFMEA DVP&R interface matrices specifications and validation reports.
  • Awareness of AIS-038 Rev.2 UN R100 ISO 6469 and applicable M1 BEV safety requirements.
  • Proficient with CATIA V5/V6 CAD tools for packaging and routing reviews and Teamcentre PLM tool

Good to have Technical skills

  • Experience in multi-loop cooling circuits and integrated coolant-distribution modules.
  • Knowledge of battery cooling plates direct-fluid cooling and immersion-cooling concepts.
  • Experience in battery pre-conditioning for fast charging cold start and performance driving.
  • Knowledge of thermal controls sensor diagnostics derating and fail-safe strategies.
  • Experience with GT-SUITE Amesim KULI MATLAB/Simulink or equivalent simulation tools.
  • Exposure to CFD and conjugate heat-transfer analysis for coolant and component performance.
  • Knowledge of thermal interface materials insulation heat spreaders and conductive materials.
  • Awareness of ISO 26262 requirements for thermal sensors pumps valves and control functions.
  • Knowledge of thermal propagation environmental validation and homologation documentation.

Required Experience:
