Job Overview:
CGI We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer with 36 years of experience in building scalable and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java Spring Boot RESTful API development CI/CD pipelines and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Design develop test and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and consume RESTful APIs for enterprise applications.
Build scalable microservices and integrate with external systems.
Write clean reusable and efficient code following best practices.
Collaborate with frontend developers QA engineers and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in code reviews debugging and performance tuning.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build test and deployment.
Work closely with DevOps teams to support cloud-native deployments.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups reviews and retrospectives.
Prepare technical documentation and support production deployments.

36 years of experience in Java Backend Development.
Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17.
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot Spring MVC and Spring Data JPA.
Experience in developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
Experience with SQL databases such as Oracle MySQL PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
Experience with Git and Maven/Gradle.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Good problem-solving debugging and communication skills.
