Junior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Linux servers and cloud infrastructure.
• Support website and application deployments.
• Learn and maintain Apache and Nginx web servers.
• Monitor server health uptime and system performance.
• Assist in configuring SSL certificates DNS and email services.
• Learn CI/CD concepts and deployment automation.
• Perform server updates backups and routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot basic server website and network issues.
• Work with Docker containers and virtualization technologies.
• Document technical procedures and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with developers and senior engineers on infrastructure-related tasks.
• Follow security best practices and company standards.

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (IP DNS HTTP/HTTPS SSH).
• Basic knowledge of Git and GitHub.
• Familiarity with web servers (Apache or Nginx) is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Knowledge of databases such as MySQL is a plus.
• Basic scripting knowledge (Bash or Python) is preferred.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Knowledge (Not Mandatory)

• AWS EC2 S3 IAM
• Docker
• GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Cloudflare
• WordPress hosting
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Monitoring tools such as Grafana or Prometheus
