ITI Technician

Core Responsibilities -

1. Installation: Setting up electrical panels switches circuit breakers conduits and lighting systems in new or existing buildings.
2. Maintenance & Inspection: Performing routine preventive checks on electrical transformers motors and machinery to prevent breakdowns.
3. Troubleshooting: Using multimeters circuit testers and diagnostic tools to identify electrical malfunctions and short circuits.
4. Repair: Replacing faulty wiring burnt-out fuses and defective electromechanical parts.
5. Blueprint Reading: Analyzing technical schematics wiring diagrams and blueprints to map out electrical layouts.

Essential Qualifications -

1. Education: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certification in the Electrician or Wireman trade.
2. Safety Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local electrical codes voltage limits and safety protocols.
3. Physical & Technical Skills: Good color vision (to identify wiring colors) physical stamina and the ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
