The Project Manager will be responsible for planning executing and delivering software
development projects by coordinating cross-functional teams managing timelines and
ensuring alignment with business objectives.
The incumbent will report to the Assistant General Manager. The incumbent will have to
work as part of a multi-functional team and this involves collaboration with the internal
team and external stakeholders.
Plan execute and manage end-to-end software development projects ensuring alignment
Define project scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and
Create comprehensive project plans detailing tasks timelines resource requirements and
Allocate resources efficiently assign responsibilities and monitor task completion to
Identify potential risks and issues early; develop and implement effective mitigation
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment
throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead regular project status meetings and provide clear consistent updates to stakeholders
Ensure adherence to established software development methodologies; recommend
process improvements where necessary.
Conduct post-implementation reviews to evaluate project performance and capture lessons
Cultivate a collaborative innovative team culture that supports continuous improvement
Competencies (Skills essential to the role):
Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies and the ability to apply them
Educational Qualification / Other Requirement:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (Masters
Project management certification (e.g. PMP PRINCE2 AgilePM) is highly desirable
Proven experience in managing end-to-end software development projects is essential
Familiarity with software development languages tools and technologies is an added
Strong knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies with the ability to apply them
effectively based on project needs
