IT Executive
Job Summary
- Maintain and troubleshoot computers laptops printers scanners servers switches routers Wi-Fi and other IT equipment.
- Provide day-to-day technical support to all hotel departments including Front Office Housekeeping Food & Beverage Finance HR Sales and Administration.
- Monitor and maintain the hotels LAN WAN Wi-Fi internet connectivity and network infrastructure.
- Support and maintain hotel applications such as Property Management System (PMS) Point of Sale (POS) HRMS accounting systems and other operational software.
- Assist with installation configuration upgrading and maintenance of hardware and software.
- Manage user accounts email accounts passwords access rights and system permissions.
- Ensure regular data backup and assist with data recovery when required.
- Monitor antivirus firewall endpoint security and other IT security systems.
- Maintain CCTV access control telephone/PBX IPTV and other technology systems where applicable.
- Support guest Wi-Fi and resolve guest technology-related issues promptly.
- Maintain IT inventory asset records software licenses and equipment documentation.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for maintenance repairs and technical support.
- Perform preventive maintenance of IT systems and equipment.
- Ensure IT systems are available and operational during hotel business hours and support emergency issues when required.
- Follow hotel IT policies cybersecurity procedures and data protection standards.
- Maintain proper records of incidents service requests maintenance activities and IT assets.
- Assist the IT Manager in implementing new technology projects and system upgrades.
- Provide basic IT training and guidance to hotel employees.
- Ensure minimum downtime of critical hotel systems and escalate major issues to the IT Manager or relevant vendor.
Qualifications :
- achelors/Diploma in Information Technology Computer Science Computer Applications or a related field.
- 13 years of IT support experience preferably in a hotel resort or hospitality environment.
- Knowledge of hotel PMS and POS systems is preferred.
- Good understanding of LAN/WAN TCP/IP Wi-Fi switches routers and basic network troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Windows OS Microsoft Office Active Directory printers and hardware troubleshooting.
- Basic knowledge of CCTV PBX/telephone systems IPTV access control and guest Wi-Fi is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in shifts weekends and holidays as required by hotel operations.
- Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Hospitality experience with good customer-service orientation will be preferred.
