Job Summary
- Key Responsibilities:
Understand and analyze business requirements processes and client needs. - Conduct discussions with clients and stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements.
- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable requirements for technical teams.
- Prepare BRDs FRDs user stories use cases process flows and functional specifications.
- Work closely with developers QA teams project managers and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create and maintain Jira/Agile backlogs user stories acceptance criteria and requirement documentation.
- Analyze business and application data using SQL queries to support requirement validation and business analysis.
- Write basic to intermediate SQL queries using
SELECTWHEREJOINGROUP BYORDER BYaggregate functions and sub queries. - Perform data validation and reconciliation between application screens reports and database records.
- Identify data inconsistencies missing records duplicate data and data-quality issues.
- Work with technical teams to understand database structures tables relationships and data flows relevant to the business requirements.
- Support data migration and data validation activities where required.
- Participate in requirement walkthroughs sprint planning sprint reviews and stakeholder meetings.
- Identify gaps dependencies risks and potential process improvements.
- Support QA teams in understanding requirements and validating developed features.
- Participate in UAT defect discussions issue tracking and resolution coordination.
- Prepare project status updates and communicate project progress requirements and open issues to stakeholders.
- Ensure requirements are properly documented tracked and aligned with client expectations.
Required Skills
- 1 years of experience as a Business Analyst / IT Business Analyst.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and software development processes.
- Experience in Requirement Gathering Analysis Documentation and Validation.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience preparing BRD FRD User Stories Use Cases Process Flows and Acceptance Criteria.
- Hands-on experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of SQL.
Preferred Candidate (as per Client requirement)
- Candidates who have graduated from IITs/IIMs
- North Indian candidates only as per client requirement.
- Strong proficiency in Hindi and English is required.
- Candidates should be comfortable communicating with North Indian clients/stakeholders.
