About The Job:

• We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure environments including AIX UNIX Linux and WebSphere Application Server (WAS) technologies.
• The role involves ensuring the stability availability performance and security of infrastructure services while supporting business-critical applications and operational requirements.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for planning implementing maintaining and supporting infrastructure services managing operational risks supporting change management processes and ensuring services meet agreed business and technical performance objectives.

Essential Job Functions:

• Manage the operation and support of IT infrastructure platforms software communications and related services.
• Support the planning development delivery and maintenance of properly engineered IT services and infrastructure solutions.
• Prepare for and support new services enhancements upgrades and infrastructure changes.
• Ensure infrastructure services comply with regulatory legal audit and professional standards.
• Monitor system performance availability capacity and operational health.
• Support incident problem change and configuration management processes.
• Provide service-level reporting operational metrics and management updates.
• Perform risk assessments contingency planning and disaster recovery support activities.
• Support externally managed and outsourced infrastructure services where applicable.
• Collaborate with application network database middleware and cloud teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation operational procedures and support runbooks.
• Participate in maintenance activities upgrades patching and platform optimization initiatives.

Qualification:
Mandatory Skills

• Client WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
• AIX Administration.
• UNIX Administration.
• Linux Administration.
• Infrastructure Operations and Support.

Technical Responsibilities

• Administer and support Client AIX environments.
• Manage UNIX and Linux operating systems including performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Support WebSphere Application Server installations configurations deployments and maintenance activities.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure middleware operating system and application-related issues.
• Perform capacity planning system tuning and performance optimization.
• Support high availability backup recovery and disaster recovery requirements.
• Implement and maintain security compliance and operational standards.
• Support infrastructure automation and operational efficiency initiatives.

Preferred Experience

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure environments.
• Experience working in ITIL-based support organizations.
• Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools.
• Experience supporting mission-critical production environments.
• Understanding of networking storage virtualization and middleware technologies.
• Exposure to cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments.
