Job Summary
The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of international logistics strong coordination skills and the ability to work with freight forwarders customs agents suppliers and internal teams.
Manage end-to-end import and export shipments from order placement to final delivery.
Coordinate with suppliers freight forwarders customs brokers shipping lines airlines and transporters.
Prepare and verify import/export documentation including invoices packing lists shipping bills bills of entry certificates of origin and other required documents.
Coordinate customs clearance and ensure compliance with applicable import/export regulations.
Track shipments and provide timely updates on shipment status delays and expected delivery dates.
Maintain accurate records of shipments logistics costs documentation and customs transactions.
Coordinate with the procurement warehouse finance and sales teams to ensure smooth movement of inventory.
Monitor freight customs transportation and other logistics-related costs.
Ensure products are shipped and received according to agreed timelines and specifications.
Handle shipment discrepancies documentation issues damages delays and other logistics exceptions.
Support inventory planning by coordinating inbound shipments with warehouse requirements.
Maintain and organize import/export records for audits and compliance purposes.
Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes reduce delays and optimize transportation costs.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements for dental and healthcare products.
Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management International Trade Commerce or a related field.
25 years of experience in import/export logistics preferably in e-commerce medical devices dental products pharmaceuticals or healthcare distribution.
Good understanding of customs clearance freight forwarding international shipping and import/export documentation.
Hands-on experience working with freight forwarders CHA/customs brokers shipping lines and transport partners.
Knowledge of Incoterms HS codes customs procedures and international trade documentation.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Good command of MS Excel and basic ERP/logistics systems.
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
Good analytical problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of Indian import/export regulations and compliance requirements will be an advantage.
