Job Summary

  • Perform hydraulic design of:
    • Sewerage collection networks
    • Rising mains and gravity sewer systems
    • Pumping stations
    • Sewage Treatment Plants (STPs)
  • Hydraulic calculations using Mannings equation and other relevant methods.
  • Design sewer sizes slopes flow velocities and hydraulic profiles.
  • Prepare Longitudinal Sections (L-Sections) and hydraulic grade lines.
  • Analyze wet weather flow infiltration and inflow.
  • Design pumping systems and pump head calculations.

Process Design

  • Prepare process design calculations for STPs.
  • Selection and sizing of:
    • Screens
    • Grit Chambers
    • Equalization Tanks
    • Primary Clarifiers
    • Biological Reactors (ASP MBBR SBR MBR etc.)
    • Secondary Clarifiers
    • Tertiary Treatment Units
    • Sludge Handling Systems
  • Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs).
  • Develop Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Design sludge treatment and reuse systems.
  • Prepare mass balance and hydraulic calculations.

Qualifications :

Master degree in Civil / Environmental Engineering / Public Health Engineering.


Additional Information :

Minimum 10 years of relevant overall experience in design
