Varex Imaging headquartered in Salt Lake City USA is a leading innovator developer and manufacturer of X-ray imaging component solutions which includes X-ray tubes digital flat panel detectors software and other key components of X-ray imaging systems

Evaluates reliability of materials properties and techniques used in production; plans designs and develops electronic parts components integrated circuitry mechanical systems equipment and packaging optical systems and/or DSP systems.

• Familiar with schematics entry and PCB layout tools measuring instruments such as high-speed oscilloscope logic analyzer etc
• Troubleshoots and debugs noise and malfunction issue down to root causes with respect to circuit design firmware PCB and component failures.
• Work with a multidisciplinary engineering design team: electrical mechanical software quality technical support productivity engineers and suppliers on the design
• Designs hardware to support features that are contained in the product definition.
• Mentors and develops engineers and technicians.
• Participates in and supports reviews held by other engineers on related projects and provides useful feedback.
• Participates in and supports different test phase efforts.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• Medical device development practices and documentation

Required Candidature:

• Hands-on experience in analog and mixed-signal circuits such as op-amps control loops DAC linear and switching regulators.
• Develop emulation/prototype systems using FPGA and with algorithm development experience. Xilinx preferable
• Knowledge of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe USB SerDes I2C SMBus etc (preferable)
• Knowledge in Ethernet and Wireless communication (preferable)

• Experience with medical devices and medical device engineering processes
• MSc with no additional experience considered.
• Statistics knowledge of analyzing modeling and verifying data.
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Science and 5 years of relevant experience
