We are seeking a Hardware Design Engineer with experience in power electronics product development. The role involves designing and validating hardware for AC-DC DC-DC and DC-AC conversion systems used in power supplies battery charging systems UPS inverters and motor drive applications. The candidate will be responsible for schematic design simulation testing debugging and product validation from concept through production.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop power electronic circuits for AC-DC DC-DC and DC-AC conversion systems.
- Develop hardware architectures for converters inverters battery chargers UPS and motor drive applications.
- Perform component selection derating analysis thermal analysis and reliability calculations.
- Create schematics BOMs design documentation and manufacturing support documents.
- Design and validate analog digital mixed-signal and gate driver circuits.
- Perform simulation using MATLAB/Simulink PSpice or equivalent tools.
- Develop microcontroller-based control and interface circuits.
- Conduct EMI/EMC design reviews testing and compliance validation.
- Support PCB design reviews layout verification and prototype bring-up activities.
- Execute hardware validation worst-case analysis and design verification testing.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and perform root-cause analysis during development and production.
- Collaborate with firmware mechanical manufacturing and quality teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Electronics or Power Electronics Engineering.
- 4 6 years of hands-on experience in hardware design and development.
- Experience in power conversion products such as SMPS UPS inverters battery chargers or motor drives.
- Strong understanding of power electronics design principles and validation methodologies.
- Experience supporting products from design through production release.
