Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Architect to design and lead the development of scalable secure and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Java Spring Boot Microservices cloud platforms API integrations and solution architecture. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders development teams and clients to define technical solutions and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architecture for enterprise-grade Java applications.
• Define technical standards architecture guidelines and best practices.
• Lead the design and development of Java Spring Boot and Microservices-based applications.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Build scalable and resilient cloud-native applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts product owners and technical teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Perform architecture reviews code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Optimize application performance scalability and security.
• Guide development teams through design and implementation phases.
• Mentor developers and provide technical leadership.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with security governance and enterprise architecture standards.
• Participate in effort estimation solution proposals and technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 12 years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong expertise in Core Java (Java 8/11/17).
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot Spring MVC Spring Security Spring Data JPA.
• Strong experience in Microservices Architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs SOAP Web Services.
• Hands-on experience with Hibernate/JPA.
• Experience with Apache Kafka RabbitMQ or other messaging platforms.
• Knowledge of API Gateway and Service Discovery.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and design patterns.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working on AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitHub Actions Azure DevOps or GitLab CI.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB).
• Experience with caching technologies like Redis.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk ELK Prometheus or Grafana.
• Strong understanding of application security OAuth2 JWT SSL and authentication mechanisms.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture.
• Knowledge of Reactive Programming (WebFlux).
• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code.
• TOGAF or cloud certifications are an added advantage.
• Experience in Banking Retail Healthcare Telecom or Insurance domains is preferred.
