• Safety planning- Risk assessment and effective safety strategies.
• Assigns/monitors work assignments and provides training in life safety First aid etc
• Control access to buildings and monitor activities.
• Manages safety scheduling and approval of contract invoices.
• Obtain copies of each safety personnel of the vendor and periodically audit the contractor for ongoing compliance.
• Maintenance of ongoing communications with GM AGM all concerned team members and other building-related services staff.
• Monitors building operations.
• Establishes inspection tours of the property focusing on stairwells elevators and all areas of ingress/egress.
• Gains/maintains proficiency with building life safety systems.
• Maintains and updates safety policies and procedures manual.
• Maintains a working knowledge of all current building fire and life safety code requirements.
• Assists in emergencies (i.e. Fire evacuations human crises etc.)
• Communicates with AGM regarding events incidents recommendations staffing needs etc.)
• Review safety measures and monitor performance.
• Co-develops with the management staff operating guidelines and practices.
• Establishes and updates site-specific safety procedures and crime deterrent programs.
