About the role
Maintain and support with high stability of NFPS application ( Oracle Apps 11i hosted on OCI)
Regularly monitor system performance resource utilization and health status of OCI instances hosting Oracle Apps.
Ensure regular backups are taken and tested; maintain disaster recovery plans aligned with OCI capabilities.
Apply patches updates and upgrades to Oracle Apps and database as per Oracle recommendations.
Manage user access roles and security policies; monitor for security vulnerabilities.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues performance bottlenecks and outages promptly.
Continuously optimize database and application performance based on monitoring insights.
Maintain configuration consistency across environments; document changes.
Automate routine tasks such as backups patching and monitoring using scripts.
Provide end-user support training and documentation for system usage.
Ensure system compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
About you
Deep understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite architecture and components
Proficiency in Oracle Database administration and application admin and tuning
Experience with OCI cloud services (compute storage networking
Familiarity with Linux/Unix system administration Knowledge of scripting languages (Shell Python SQL) for automation
Expertise in OCI environment setup management and security
Ability to configure and optimize cloud resources
Understanding of network security VPC VPN and firewall configurations
Skills in using monitoring tools (Oracle Management Cloud OCI Monitoring. Ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues and outages. Incident management and root cause analysis
Implementing security best practices Managing user roles privileges and audit policies Ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
Ability to plan upgrades patches and migrations Managing change control and documentation Coordinating with cross-functional teams
Clear communication with stakeholders and team members Documentation of procedures incidents and resolutions Providing end-user support and training
Critical thinking to analyze complex issues Developing innovative solutions for system optimization
