Job Description:

Define and develop the end-to-end architecture of electric powertrain systems including motor inverter battery pack DC/DC converters onboard chargers and control system-level trade studies simulations and modeling to ensure optimal design with hardware and software teams to develop all subsystems for optimal performance and compliance with industry standards safety regulations (ISO 26262 ISO 21434) and OEM requirements engineering for the electric powertrain system and maintain the integration of powertrain components into vehicle platforms (including thermal mechanical and electrical interfaces).Coordinate validation and testing strategies for system-level performance durability and as the technical authority for electric powertrain architecture in concept development design reviews and supplier and integrate emerging technologies such as SiC inverters and high-voltage battery systems (400V / 800V). Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics or a related field.10 years of experience in electric powertrain design or system architecture preferably in the automotive or mobility understanding of electric motors (PMSM induction) inverters HV batteries and control with simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink or with system engineering tools (e.g. IBM DOORS Polarion SysML/UML).Familiarity with vehicle communication protocols (CAN LIN FlexRay).Knowledge of thermal management and EMC considerations in EV systems. Strong problem-solving leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
