Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical projects.
Prepare BOQs covering electrical materials cables switchgear lighting and allied items.
Analyze drawings specifications and project requirements.
Calculate material labour equipment and installation costs.
Obtain and compare quotations from vendors and suppliers.
Maintain updated material and market pricing information.
Prepare technical and commercial proposals for tenders.
Coordinate with project and business development teams.
Support pre-bid meetings and site visits.
Track actual project costs against estimated costs.
Requirements
B.E./ in Electrical Engineering.
23 years of relevant experience in electrical estimation and costing.
Good knowledge of electrical materials and systems.
Experience in BOQ/BOM preparation and pricing.
Knowledge of electrical drawings and specifications.
Good understanding of Bangalore electrical market/vendor pricing is preferred.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Required Skills:
Required Skills & Experience 8 years of professional software engineering experience in backend systems APIs or AI products Proficiency in Python (Django) and JavaScript / TypeScript (React) Strong understanding of REST / GraphQL APIs backend architecture and data modelling Hands-on experience with agentic AI frameworks LangChain LangGraph Semantic Kernel or similar Experience with containerisation (Docker) and cloud platforms (GCP Azure or equivalent) Solid working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases Proven track record of leading AI projects from conception to production deployment Strong system design skills and software engineering fundamentals Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Good to Have Experience in a product SaaS or consulting environment Exposure to MLOps pipelines big data or deep learning workflows Prior experience building governance and compliance layers into AI systems
