The Engineering Manager is responsible to lead the design development maintenance and modernization of web-based and cloud applications. This role combines people leadership technical leadership and delivery ownership.

This position reports to the Engineering Manager and is part of the Digital solutions team supporting in Acute care diagnostics located in Bengaluru and will be on-site.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

• Provide hands-on technical guidance for cloud and web application development.
• Own delivery commitments for product enhancements maintenance releases and modernization initiatives.
• Lead cloud architecture and operational excellence initiatives.
• Ensure long-term health and sustainability of released products.
• Manage component lifecycle technical debt and cloud platform upgrades.
• Lead mentor and develop a high-performing software engineering team.
• Foster a culture of accountability collaboration innovation and continuous improvement.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• 10 years of software development experience.
• 3 years leading software engineering teams.
• Good expertise in C# .NET Core / .NET 8 MVC / Web API Entity Framework RESTful APIs SQL Server
• Good expertise in cloud technologies preferably Azure. Experience with serverless functions web API cloud storage is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of software design principles design patterns cloud patterns etc.
• Proven ability to lead design reviews resolve complex technical challenges implement CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices and guide engineering teams in building scalable secure and highly -based cloud solutions.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in regulated industries such as Healthcare and Medical Devices is an added advantage.
• Experience with IoT or connected-device ecosystems is an advantage
