Engineer III-Plant Layout & Piping Design 2

Role Definition:

Roles at this level are leads for a small-sized team Equipment responsible engineers leading small areas or leading a project with low complexities.

They communicate seamlessly with global entities suppliers sub-contractors and within the project teams.

This role typically is of execution with minimum supervision within the area of work executed as a team member.

Key Responsibility:

Development of piping design using 3D tools like S3D or E3D is must (handson experience)

Functional competency

Management of a project at disciplinary level of low to medium complexity and small size project / proposal under close guidance.

Responsible for specific task / area as Area Lead for management of all activities related to his task / area in the project.

Creation of adapted solutions based on existing solutions.

Prepare quality deliverable within budget schedule and take full responsibility for the own task and check the deliverables created by others.

Contact person with sound knowledge for specific activity / for computational methods within his area.

Internal and external co-ordination with other disciplines and vendors / contractors.

Leading competency

Leading a small to mid sized team of engineers / designers.

Internal and external co-ordination with other disciplines global suppliers clients / PMC.

Representation of the interest of the department to internal stake holders.

Additional Responsibility:

Area lead / Lead of small projects

Number of Projects Handled: Atleast 2 large/mid size projects as a Team member

Excellent collaboation and communicaiton skills

Education Experience:

1. Bachelor of Mechanical / Chemical Engineering with 8 years experience
