Job Summary
Role Summary
The Electrical Assistant Engineer / Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of plant electrical systems minimizing downtime and strengthening preventive maintenance practices. The role requires strong hands-on troubleshooting capability sound equipment knowledge and strict adherence to maintenance SOPs to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement timely corrective actions to restore operations with minimal downtime
- Carry out routine and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment as per defined schedules
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure optimal equipment performance
- Maintain and update technical documentation maintenance records and reports accurately
- Ensure strict adherence to maintenance check sheets SOPs and safety standards
- Attend and resolve breakdowns promptly with a focus on quick and effective resolution
Technical Expertise
- Working knowledge of industrial equipment such as Hoist EOT Cranes Paint Booth Oven and Shot Blasting machines
- Strong understanding of electrical systems circuits and plant layouts
- Knowledge of utility equipment including Transformers HT Panels and LT Panels
- Basic understanding of PLC RLC circuits and control systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

Educational Qualification
ITI / Diploma / in Electrical Engineering
Experience Required
Relevant experience in manufacturing or automobile industry will be preferred
