Electrical Assistant Engineer

Role Summary

The Electrical Assistant Engineer / Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of plant electrical systems minimizing downtime and strengthening preventive maintenance practices. The role requires strong hands-on troubleshooting capability sound equipment knowledge and strict adherence to maintenance SOPs to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement timely corrective actions to restore operations with minimal downtime
2. Carry out routine and preventive maintenance of electrical equipment as per defined schedules
3. Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and ensure optimal equipment performance
4. Maintain and update technical documentation maintenance records and reports accurately
5. Ensure strict adherence to maintenance check sheets SOPs and safety standards
6. Attend and resolve breakdowns promptly with a focus on quick and effective resolution

Technical Expertise

1. Working knowledge of industrial equipment such as Hoist EOT Cranes Paint Booth Oven and Shot Blasting machines
2. Strong understanding of electrical systems circuits and plant layouts
3. Knowledge of utility equipment including Transformers HT Panels and LT Panels
4. Basic understanding of PLC RLC circuits and control systems
5. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

Educational Qualification

ITI / Diploma / in Electrical Engineering

Experience Required

Relevant experience in manufacturing or automobile industry will be preferred
