Roles and Responsibilities

- EHS Management to be established for Contractors management
- Conductingriskassessments:Identifyingpotentialhazardsandevaluatingriskswithintheworkplace.
- Compliance to EHS Quality Policies:Actions to implementthe Policies.
- Trainingandeducation:Providingtrainingtoemployeesonsafeworkpracticesandcompliancewithregulations.
- Incidentmanagement:Investigatingandmanagingincidentsaccidentsandsafetyconcerns.
- Complianceassessments:Conductingassessmentstoensurecompliancewithsafetyandenvironmentalregulations.
- EHStrainingprograms:DevelopingandconductingEHStrainingprogramstopromotesafeworkpractices.
- Collaborationwithstakeholders:Workingwithengineeringmanufacturingandotherkeystakeholderstodevelopnewstandardsandprocedures.
- Communication to stake holders :CommunicatingEHS otherrequirements for compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a recognized bachelors degree
- Qualified competent and certified EHS Professional approved by Directorate of Industrial Safety & Health (DISH) from global/ national/ state approved institutes with minimum 5 yrs relevant work experience
- Expert knowledge of local EHS legislations
- Good computer skill using MS office (word excel power point)
- Experience with and knowledge of independent standards organizations and certification programs such as ISO 14001 ISO 45001 etc

- Great communication & inter-personal skills
- Demonstrated experience in EHS at construction sites
- Problem solving and root cause identification skills
- High proficiency in English & Tamil (oral & written)
- Customer project site audit skills
