Location Bangalore / Hyderabad

## Core Responsibilities

The role is multifaceted involving everything from initial sketches to overseeing the final installation.

### 1. Technical Design & Engineering

• System Development: Developing detailed designs for facade systems such as curtain walls rainscreens point-fixed glazing and stone cladding.
• Structural Analysis: Performing calculations to ensure the facade can withstand wind loads seismic forces and thermal expansion.
• Material Selection: Choosing appropriate glass types metals and sealants based on performance requirements (U-values G-values and acoustic ratings).

### 2. Documentation & Modeling

• CAD & BIM: Creating complex 2D technical drawings and 3D models using software like AutoCAD Revit or Rhino/Grasshopper.
• Shop Drawings: Reviewing and approving fabrication drawings to ensure they align with the design intent and safety standards.
• Thermal Analysis: Using software (like THERM or LBNL WINDOW) to simulate heat transfer and prevent condensation issues.

### 3. Project Management & Collaboration

• Cross-Functional Synergy: Coordinating with Architects to maintain aesthetic vision and with Structural Engineers to ensure the building frame can support the facades weight.
• Site Inspections: Visiting construction sites to monitor installation quality and resolve technical issues on the fly.
• Testing: Overseeing laboratory mock-up tests (PMU) for air leakage water penetration and structural integrity.
