Role Summary :

We are seeking an experienced PostgreSQL DBA expertise to manage maintain and optimize containerized application platforms and PostgreSQL database environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Kubernetes cluster administration PostgreSQL database operations performance tuning backup and recovery high availability security compliance and production support.

Key Responsibilities:

PostgreSQL Database Administration
Install configure upgrade and maintain PostgreSQL databases.
Perform database performance monitoring and tuning.
Manage database backups restores and disaster recovery activities.
Implement and maintain PostgreSQL replication solutions.
Configure High Availability (HA) and failover mechanisms.
Monitor database health storage growth and capacity planning.
Troubleshoot database performance and connectivity issues.
Perform query optimization and indexing strategies.
Manage database users roles privileges and security controls.
Execute patching upgrades and migration activities.
Operations & Support
Provide L2/L3 production support.
Participate in incident problem and change management processes.
Prepare operational documentation and runbooks.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents.
Support deployment and release management activities.
Coordinate with application infrastructure and security teams.

Required Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or related field.
5 years of IT infrastructure/database administration experience.
3 years of Kubernetes administration experience.
3 years of PostgreSQL DBA experience.
Experience managing production-critical environments.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
